Upset Art Festival
The weekend that just ended was very rich and busy. Namely, we participated in the 6th UPSET ART festival of art and inclusion of people with disabilities, which took place in a cultural center in Zagreb. The festival was conceived as a point of connection for all people who want to express themselves artistically. There were exhibitions, handicrafts, jewelry, poetry, concerts, theater performances and contemporary dance. I exhibited my works (mostly abstractions, acrylics on canvas) and at the same time I painted a new picture, which aroused great interest from the audience. Great satisfaction and inspiration in painting was also provided by the concert of Kristina Šubašić, who sang jazz standards accompanied by pianist Leandro Havliček. Our joint program was very interesting to the visitors, and thus we also presented the work of the Arte portas association, which Kristina and I founded, within which we engage in various cultural activities.
